The Impact of Globalisation on the NHS

Angela Coulter, Chief Executive of the Picker Institute, co-authored a paper debated at the NHS Confederation’s annual conference from 18th to 20th June in Manchester. The paper, entitled, ‘Globalisation: How will it affect the NHS?’ examined what the NHS needs to do to be better prepared for some of the challenges – and opportunities – globalisation will bring.
