Innovation for Life Challenge Fund
This fund has been developed in collaboration with the Social Enterprise Coalition. It is an invitation to local health and social care commissioners and their partners to propose innovative ways of using social enterprise solutions to meet local health and well-being challenges and to tackle health inequalities. This is an opportunity for commissioners to demonstrate a world class commissioning approach by identifying the needs of their population, gaps in provision and clear strategic outcomes that can be addressed by collaborative social enterprise solutions and third sector/social enterprise provider and market development.

"Home Improvements" Grant Scheme
The Mental Health Foundation has announced a new grant-making scheme to fund new and innovative projects for people with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias living in care homes. Funding of between £5,000 - £25,000 will be provided to selected projects which can run for up to two years. The Foundation will provide some additional support to projects and evaluate the projects. The scheme is being funded out of a substantial legacy left to the Foundation to do work in connection with Alzheimer’s disease. Closing date for applications is 5pm on Friday 4 July.
