Leading Improvement in Patient Safety
The Safer Care team at the NHS Institute works with NHS trusts to help them gain the passion, confidence and skills to eliminate harm to patients. Last November, 23 trusts signed up to the Leading Improvement in Patient Safety (LIPS) programme, which focuses on building the capacity and capability within hospital teams to improve patient safety. More info can be found here. Applications are now invited for the second wave of the programme, which will start in May 2008.
