In September 2007, the Board of the Strategic Health Authority adopted three objectives in support of improvement and innovation. These were to ensure the adoption of best improvement practice in support of the key Operating Framework priorities, to foster a culture of innovation and improvement and to build capacity and capability for improvement. This is a report of the work that has been done across Yorkshire and the Humber, supported by the SHA, in response to these objectives.
