The NHS Technology Adoption Centre (NTAC) has launched its second Call for Proposals for Technology Implementation Projects. NTAC would like to receive applications from healthcare clinicians and medical technology companies concerning technologies that might be suitable for 4 Projects to begin in Autumn 2009.
These Projects will involve approved technologies being implemented in real-time NHS clinical settings to see the range of issues associated with adopting and using the technologies. These Projects will also identify where additional changes to a clinical pathway or service may need to be made to unlock the full benefit of the technologies. Where technology adoption is successful, online technology adoption guides ("How to, Why to Guides") will be disseminated widely across the NHS to stimulate uptake. The deadline for electronic applications is 5 pm, 2 March 2009. Click here for further information.
