Carbon Monoxide awareness campaign
As part of a 'Think Carbon Monoxide' - awareness campaign, the Department of Health is urging GPs, A&E consultants and community nurses to 'Think CO' when patients present with general tiredness, flu-like or food-poisoning symptoms. A joint letter from the Chief Medical Officer and Chief Nursing Officer is being sent to front-line health professionals. The latest initiative coincides with a national Carbon Monoxide Awareness Week, which runs from 17 to 23 November. Click here for further information.
