Enhancing Engagement in Medical Leadership Tools
The Enhancing Engagement in Medical Leadership project is a joint project led by the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges (AoMRC) and the NHS Institute. The project goal is to create a culture of greater medical engagement in management and leadership with all doctors at every level. This is a UK wide project which started in 2006 and has achieved all the deliverables for Phase One including: development of a Medical Leadership Competency Framework; International study on preparation of doctors for leadership roles; Research into the link between medical engagement and organisational performance.
