New Pilots of Integrated Care
Following the publication of the NHS Next Stage Review and Primary and Community Care Strategy, the Department of Health has announced plans for new pilots of integrated care. Innovative clinicians will be invited to put forward proposals for pilots that involve working more collaboratively across primary, community and secondary care, and health and social care boundaries. The DH will be looking at ways in which PCTs can commission more integrated services and deliver more seamless, patient-centred care. For more information, email: integratedcare@dh.gsi.gov.uk.
