The QIPP collection on NHS Evidence brings together 70 examples of quality and productivity in one place to support widespread adoption and to help others deliver successful improvements without having to re-invent the wheel. NHS Evidence is now calling for new examples would like to encourage you to get involved.
There is a new form, together with a user guide setting out the level of detail required on productivity, quality, implementation and effectiveness. Email your submission by 18 June 2010.
The QIPP collection will be re-launched this summer.

Join the team - NHS Evidence
NHS Evidence are currently looking for new members to join the NHS Evidence Advisory Committee to replace those whose terms have come to an end.
The Advisory Committee is central to the decision making process for the NHS Evidence Accreditation Scheme, which recognises high standards in the production of guidance. Processes which have reached the highest standards are awarded the NHS Evidence Accreditation Mark, which can be displayed on the relevant guidance as a quality standard.
Applications for committee members are welcomed from enthusiastic individuals with expertise in relevant areas of work such as research and methodology and who are potential users of NHS Evidence services such as clinicians, social care professionals and lay representatives.

Efficiency savings - NHS Evidence
Linking quality and productivity is an important challenge for the NHS if it is to reach its target of £15-20 billion in efficiency savings by 2014.The Department of Health's Quality and Productivity project has been designed to help NHS organisations make the necessary savings without compromising quality of care and services. As part of this initiative NHS Evidence now has a dedicated section NHS Evidence – Quality and Productivity, which gives access to evidence on how to improve quality and productivity within the NHS, including examples of innovative local practices. Content covers best available evidence, tools and techniques, measurement, case-studies and policy on all aspects of innovation and improvement.

NHS Evidence - innovation and improvement
NHS Evidence - innovation and improvement will be officially launched at The King's Fund Annual Conference on 24 November 2009. NHS Evidence - commissioning
The commissioning specialist collection (CSC), part of NHS Evidence and managed by The King’s Fund, is an information resource for all those involved in commissioning for health and wellbeing. It endeavours to include the best available evidence, examples of good practice, policy and data to support world class commissioning and is managed by a dedicated information specialist who is contactable via email should you have any feedback, suggestions or queries.
Highlights of the collection include the regularly updated key topics which provide brief summaries and links to information on various commissioning topics, and the CSC is always happy to consider suggestions for new topics. You can also find links to commissioning related events, data sources, journals and toolkits.
