The Orthopaedic Rapid Improvement Programme is part of the NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement; Delivering Qualityand Value (DQV) team. DQV’s work has been to discover how the top performing healthcare organisations in the NHS deliver the highest quality care with the best resource utilisation.

NHS improvement programmes merge
Three NHS improvement teams are integrating into one national team called "NHS Improvement". The diagnostics, heart and stroke improvement programmes have officially merged following recommendations from the national programmes review carried out by the Office of Strategic Health Authorities.
